Serax

Serax is the brainchild of SERge and AXel Van Den Bossche. Two brothers who were brought up amidst the flowerpot trade in their mother’s business. Over the past thirty years, the small-scale business that started up in a garage in 1986 has grown into a multinational with over 65 employees and a head office in Antwerp. Today, the company is led by Axel. Axel’s wife – Marie Michielssen – is Serax’ house designer. She is the creator of, amongst other things, the famous ‘Cactus Vase’. Serax is a family business where passion runs through the veins.

Kurieto

Kuriēto is a celebration of design, craft and heritage, with a nod to contemporary and Scandinavian influence. Each piece has been handcrafted with painstaking attention to detail and profound respect for techniques and traditions passed down through generations.

Overs years working closely with the world’s leading restaurants and chefs, including some of world’s best-known culinary institutions, Kuriēto has curated a range of truly unique ceramic and glass tableware.

Each Kuriēto piece, its texture, colour and form, has been designed to allow its contents to sing. In its restrained beauty, the vessel does not speak louder than the food: it is the stage, not the star. However, it is the interplay between each stunningly designed plate and the food it holds that calls to mind the words of Jun'ichirō Tanizaki: “… lost in contemplation of flavours to come, I feel as if I were being drawn into a trance.”
