Dutch designer Annebet Philips translated classic cups and saucers into simple, almost childlike shapes, first cut from cardboard. These playful prototypes were then literally transformed into porcelain, while keeping their fold lines and uneven edges. Hand-painted, irregular lines further accentuate the spontaneity of the designs.

The result is a uniquely playful collection that captures the magic of the very first idea.
