In Jinsui’s tea wares, the relationship between clay and tea is an important part of the brewing experience. Made from iron-rich clay from Tokoname, the teapots are believed to gently soften bitterness and astringency in tea, creating a smoother and more rounded flavour.

Each tea ware is fired at a carefully controlled temperature that allows the clay to retain a subtle porosity. Over time, the clay interacts with the tea, absorbing traces of harshness while allowing the fuller character of the leaves to come forward more gently.

Finishing: Unglazed

Care instructions: Hand wash with water only (no detergent) and wipe dry to get rid of moisture.

For teapot, remove the lid and store them dry in well-ventilated area. Do not use any chemical detergent or dishwasher. Do not use direct fire. Handle with care.
